It’s not often that a product with more to offer than the original it replaces will actually cost less. But that’s what we have with CopperPlus. It looks and acts like copper, but it’s stronger and lighter. And because it consists of outer layers of copper bonded to a core of stainless steel, it’s less costly than solid copper. Bottom line: CopperPlus gives you higher performance for lower cost.
CopperPlus consists of ASTM B370 copper metallurgically bonded to both surfaces of Type 430 stainless steel. The layer volume ratio — Cu/SS/Cu — is 10/80/10. It’s simple. Less copper equals less cost.
